Caregiver Guide
Strengthen those who serve. Equip them where God has planted them. Send them renewed into the fields already entrusted to them.

Key Seekers Adventures is educational and devotional content for children to use with a parent, guardian, or trusted adult. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice, and it does not create a physician-patient relationship. It does not replace your church, your family's discernment, or professional care. Adults remain responsible for all health, safety, family, educational, financial, and legal decisions.
Use it side by side
- Sit together. This is a conversation starter, not a screen to hand over.
- Five to ten minutes is a full session. Stop while it is still enjoyable.
- Let the child lead the pace, the drawing, and the choice of response.
Teach the two columns
- What I noticed: the plain observation โ a face, a word, a picture, a feeling.
- What I think it might mean: a possible meaning, held gently and open to revision.
- Praise accurate recording more than impressive interpretation.
Keep responses small and safe
- A prayer, a card, a drawing, a kind sentence, a quiet act of help.
- Always get permission before a child shares an impression with another person.
- Never direct words about health, medication, money, marriage, or big decisions.
Safeguarding, plainly
- No adult outside the child's trusted circle should receive private spiritual messages from a child.
- Nothing in this material asks a child to keep an experience secret from a parent or guardian.
- Children may participate by listening, drawing, praying, or simply watching.
Body, feelings, and spirit
- Sudden compassion, excitement, worry, peace, tension, or sadness are information to explore, not proof of meaning.
- Name the feeling, get calm, pray, check Scripture, then talk with a trusted adult.
- Prayer for a sick person sits alongside medical care. Adults handle all clinical decisions.
When to pause
- If a child becomes fearful, anxious, or preoccupied, stop and shift to comfort and Scripture.
- If content touches abuse, self-harm, or danger, stop the activity and involve appropriate help immediately.
- Reach out to your pastor, counselor, or clinician when something is beyond an app.
Six questions for the log
- What did I notice?
- What did I think it might mean?
- Which Scripture helped me?
- Which trusted adult helped me weigh it?
- What small action did I take?
- What fruit appeared over time?
Your family's data
- Without an account: the story, Gift Quest answers, HEART Path log, Mission Map and Play Mode keys are stored only in this browser on this device. Erase them with the button at the bottom of the HEART Path page.
- With a grown-up's account: private journal entries and Play Mode progress are saved to that account. New entries are private unless you tick "Share". A trusted adult you add can read shared entries and game progress and add a note, but cannot change what the child wrote. Remove them or stop sharing at any time from the journal or Caregiver page.
- AI helpers: "Encourage me" sends only the reflection text (not the child's name) to an AI service to write a reply. Nothing is sent unless a grown-up presses the button. Read every reply together.
